Never too early to start planning and working towards your cosplay goals. ^^
Do you need help deciding what to cosplay? Need ideas on where to start? Where to get good wigs or costume tips? What are some good ways to prep for a con?
I'll try to collaborate ideas and help you out.
So what are you thinking about cosplaying? <3 And feel free to ask if you have any specific questions~
I'll come back and edit these lists as I go.

Need help finding a cosplay?…
This search engine can find one for you! You can search anything from skin color, to hair style, to accessories, to role in the game or anime. >u< They even have additional suggestions on the side when the results come up to refine the search. ^^

1. (recommend the…)
All are comfortable. The binder suit is /not/ female friendly (very difficult to go to the bathroom) so I would not recommend for women.
If you are in between sizes always go for the larger size. It will fit better. If you go smaller than you are you risk rib and lung damage.
(Underworks is extremely helpful and has extremely fast shipping along with great prices and good quality materials. I have tried a ton of other sites and this one takes the cake.)
2.… Excellent for shoe lifts, when you need to be taller.
Search on deviantart for tutorials on wings, props, and armors. (I recommend the ones that involve foam) DevArt is full of great tutorials.
1. Armor/Prop Tutorials:
rufflebuttcosplay.deviantart..… (<--- Also has wig, worbla, and makeup)…
2. Makeup Tutorials:………
3. Wig Tutorials:……
4. Sewing/Cosplay Tutorials:……………
Other Tips:
1. Go to great clips with some references to your character if you can’t cut your wigs. Find someone familiar with feather cuts or k/jpop ideally (They’re cheap and good)
2. Thrift shopping will save you a ton of money.
3. In order to seal makeup, apply the makeup, baby powder, and then a light bodyspray. =)
4. if you use sew clips into the wig you will no longer need bobby pins.
5. Call ahead to see what amenities the hotel has. (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. )

Con List (what to bring or how to prep for a con):It's always a good idea to make a list of what to bring before hand. You can check off what you need when you pack to go to the con and use it again to make sure you have everything when you return home.
Create a breakdown list of what each cosplay needs.
Create a toiletries list, electronics, sewing tools etc. It comes in so very handy and takes the pressure of forgetting something off.

Buy light groceries to take to the con. It's much cheaper than eating out and probably healthier too.
People should drink a lot more than usual b/c of the constant walking/exercise. Potassium, Proteins, Water (soda will /not/ hydrate you) are all good things to keep in mind.

My typical list is:
Case of Water, Gatorade packets (to use for the water if I want something different), peanut butter (or perhaps something else with protein), jelly, honey, tea packets (coffee makers are in most hotel rooms now), wheat bread, tortilla chips and salsa (great snack), tuna packets (good protein/sandwich/quick snack), bananas(potassium for those tired muscles), microwavable rice packets (if I know there's a microwave), protein bars(friggin mini meals right there), or those meal replacement shakes (Ensure, etc. They have a ton of vitamins and are fantastic if you're really on the go). Whatever floats your boat really. =)

I enjoy working on different forms of art. I'm working on becoming a voice actor. =)
I speak English (obviously), German, and Japanese. (I can read/write hiragana and katakana but I'm still learning kanji) (Oh! and a /little/ bit of French)
